Up Front is a program that empowers future leaders from diverse backgrounds, equipping and inspiring them to use football as a dynamic vehicle for lasting positive change within their communities. Through the program, we facilitate teamwork, respect, and resilience - values that underpin the sport and drive our vision of a more inclusive and empowered society. Our program extends the core mission of the Football Futures Foundation, using the beautiful game as a tool to enhance social cohesion, inspire young individuals, and strengthen communities.

Our vision for Up Front is to create a society where passionate young leaders from all walks of life are equipped and inspired to become catalysts for positive change. We see football as more than just a game; it is a tool that bridges social gaps and nurtures leadership skills, driving sustainable impact in communities worldwide. Up Front aims to build a diverse network of emerging community leaders who share our passion for football for good. We believe this program will empower young leaders to make a significant contribution to fostering lasting impact within targeted communities in WA.

Football Futures Foundation is excited to award three exceptional participants with 'Up Front' scholarships. These selected individuals will attend Festival23, an 8-day global youth festival of Football for Good, taking place in Sydney during the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023’s quarter-final week (6-14 August). The scholarship covers all main expenses, including interstate travel, meals, and accommodation, ensuring an unforgettable experience.
We equip young staff and volunteers across the organisation with the skills to become community change makers. Participants of the Up Front program are motivated, inspired and passionate individuals who are making a difference in their centres and communities.
We work statewide with local government agencies and other not for profit organisations to deliver on their young engagement strategies including the development and implementation of youth committees and youth leadership forums
