Event Description

Join us for the free Mirrabooka Refugee Week Freedom Cup and Family Fun Day at Mirrabooka Regional Open Space on Saturday 13 June from 9:30am–3:30pm.

Hosted by the Mirrabooka Refugee Week Council, this community celebration will bring families and communities together through football, culture and a wide range of family-friendly activities. Enjoy the Freedom Cup football tournament, a free barbecue, information stalls, face painting, henna, farm animals and activities for children.

Celebrating the 2026 Refugee Week theme, “A Million Stories”, the event recognises the courage, resilience and valuable contributions of refugees, while celebrating the individual stories that continue to shape our diverse community.
