With a shared vision to creating brighter tomorrows for kids in need, Football Futures Foundation is proud to announce its newest partnership with Hyundai Help for Kids. The partnership aims to extend and amplify the reach of Football Futures Foundation’s UNITED through Football initiative, providing opportunities for disadvantaged children and young people to access football across Western Australia.
UNITED through Football is a place-based and community-led initiative that serves the needs and interests of young people in Western Australia who face barriers to participation in organised clubs and competition formats of the game. It places an emphasis on capacity building, strengthening pro-social relationships, community and cultural connections and life skills. This initiative has been funded by the Department of Home Affairs Safer Communities Grant and the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries so far, and is delivered in partnership with Football West and community partners.
In addition to pledging their commitment to social impact through sponsorship of the UNITED through Football initiative, Hyundai Help for Kids are also generously providing two Hyundai vehicles, enabling Football Futures Foundation to expand our reach and footprint across remote and regional Western Australia. The provision of two vehicles by Hyundai Help for Kids marks a significant milestone in the expansion of Football Futures Foundation’s outreach efforts. These vehicles will serve as vital transportation assets, enabling the Foundation to overcome geographical barriers and extend its programs to remote and regional areas where access to sporting opportunities may be limited.
Expressing gratitude for the partnership, Executive Officer of Football Futures Foundation, Arthur Hiemstra, remarked, “We are immensely grateful to Hyundai Help for Kids for their generous support and commitment to our cause. With their partnership and the provision of vehicles, we can further our mission of empowering young people and driving social impact in communities across Western Australia.”
Similarly, Michael Beros, Hyundai’s Regional General Manager WA, shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “Hyundai Help for Kids is proud to partner with Football Futures Foundation in their UNITED through Football program. We believe in the power of sport to transform lives and are delighted to contribute to expanding access to football opportunities for children in regional and remote areas.”
As the collaborative efforts between Football Futures Foundation and Hyundai Help for Kids gather momentum, the stage is set for an exciting year of football for good in Western Australia. Watch this space!
