Football Futures Foundation is delighted to announce its new partnership with VenuesWest as part of the VenuesWest Community Partner Program. This two-year collaboration will provide the foundation with a multitude of benefits, significantly enhancing its ability to serve communities across Western Australia.
VenuesWest, a leader in Western Australia’s sports and entertainment industry, established the Community Partner Program in 2016 to support charities in achieving their core objectives through tailored opportunities. The program allows VenuesWest to give back to the communities it serves by supporting initiatives that align with its values.
Football Futures Foundation and A Stitch in Time will embark on two-year partnerships with VenuesWest, while current charity partner, What Ability Foundation, will remain until 2026.
Football Futures Foundation leverages the universal appeal of football to engage priority communities, promote well-being and inclusion, and build skills. By working in partnership with the community, the Foundation provides safe grassroots programs for all, especially people living with disabilities, youth at risk, culturally and racially marginalised groups, and those who face barriers to participating in mainstream football.
A Stitch in Time promotes well-being through advocacy, education, and social connection for individuals and communities. Its programs focus on mentoring, prevention, building resilience, and fostering positive mental well-being. The organisation invests in four key areas: on-the-ground advocacy, youth and community mental health research, workshops and partnerships, and education to help people support others in their life.
What Ability Foundation continues to unlock experiences for people living with disabilities and their families, particularly in sport and entertainment. The team aims to provide one million experiences to their participants, and Football Futures Foundation is thrilled to connect with the organisation for potential football collaborations.
