Common Goal Program
Program delivered in partnership with WA Police, Edmund Rice and Local Mosques to engage youth through street-style training sessions and extension programs to become physically active, promote positive relationship with the WA Police and education system.
Street Football Program
- Small-sided and skill-based activations delivered in shopping centre or similar car-parks in partnership with the WA Police, Venue Owner and local community leaders to improve engagement with at-risk youth, pathways to providers, and promote cultural inclusion.
- This also includes delivery of street-style programs within the youth justice centres in WA, such as Banksia Hill Detention Centre.
Walking Football Program
Low-impact, modified skills program delivered in a small-sided field to engage those that have physical or mental wellbeing issues. Individual based program to increase the engagement of those that are ‘at-risk’ or face barriers to team based programs.
Football in Schools
In-school programs focusing on utilising small-sided and fun-skills based training as a vehicle for engaging students at-risk within the school environment. Program participation will include a mix of physical activity and classroom based learning to focus on the importance of attendance, education and leadership as part of developing life skills.
Equal Footingball / Cerebral Palsy Program / Special Olympics
Inclusive training and small-sided games for people with physical disabilities from ages 9 to adult. The program aims to provide education and training to promote physical and mental wellbeing, as well as social inclusion. Delivered in partnership with Special Olympics
Aboriginal Talent Development Programs
Training, education and mentoring, and financial support for talented Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants who currently do not have the financial, physical or emotional wellbeing to participate as part of the talent-develop pathway. The program aims to increase the cultural awareness and inclusivity within the community through supporting the pathway for young players and ensuring club / association structures and culture adapt.
WA Paras Football / WA All-Stars / Special Olympics
- Training, education and mentoring programs delivered by advanced coaches to support the development of talented players with disabilities. The programs focus on a holistic approach to player management to increase the life and social engagement of players and enhance their physical activity to achieve high-performance outcomes.
- This includes support for representation at a State and National Level through relevant tournaments and competitions.
